Rookie Ball Camps

Rookie Ball Camps are created with the machine-pitch and coach-pitch player in mind.

This Monday to Thursday 4-day camp from 9a-12p for 6 & 7 year olds is designed to assist players in learning the basic skills of hitting, catching ground balls and fly balls, throwing the ball straight a target, and playing baseball or softball!

High School Players enrolled in our Junior Instructor Training Program will be captaining and leading the instruction each day. For many years the Pinkman Academy has been proud to develop players that not only enjoy learning, but also enjoy teaching. Over the past 18 years we have hired 14 part-time instructors to teaching individual pitching and hitting lessons. 10 of them have been former Pinkman students. Our plan for developing this training program is to engage a need to help players ages 6 & 7, and help high school players develop their own voice. Many players learn how to improve themselves through teaching.

The Pinkman Academy has always prided itself on creating different learning atmospheres for baseball and softball players. We are happy to present this series of Rookie Camps to give the next generation of ball players the right skills to succeed.

During the half-day camps Rookie Ball campers will be introduced to the Pinkman Academy dynamic warmups, rotate through our skill development training sessions, Sport Vision training, and take a snack break for 15-20mins.

Players need to bring gloves, bats, helmets, and a snack.
